Diving for the stars

Warm water, plenty of space and a water world children love.

At The Stern’s eco indoor swimming pool, you don’t simply dive into water, but into a little world inspired by mountains, springs and flowing streams. The round pool feels open, the warm water makes jumping in easy, and all around are exactly the things families love: cosy cabanas, space to play and attractions like the current channel, bubbling air bench and waterfall. Little ones have their own safe splash area, while older children race down the Trioslide waterslide – and somehow, everyone always wants just one more round.

But what makes the pool truly special is not only what it offers, but also the story and philosophy behind it. The legend of Lake Drachensee continues here: the constellation of the dragon has landed on the pool floor – a little mystery children can solve with colour glasses, making swimming even more exciting.

At the same time, the indoor pool is designed very much the Stern way: the water comes from the natural spring, sustainable ideas are made visible in playful ways, and much of the technology, water circulation and energy systems are intentionally left visible instead of hidden away. The result is more than just an indoor pool: it’s a place that brings joy, carries families through their holiday and naturally belongs to The Stern.
