At The Stern, sustainably is part of everyday life. Not just since it became trendy, but for generations.
Much of this mattered at The Stern long before there were big words for it. Not because it sounds modern, but because it makes sense to us. We believe a holiday home only feels truly right when things are thoughtfully done behind the scenes too – from regional sourcing to renewable energy, from short distances to the question of how children don’t just see nature, but truly experience it.
That is why sustainability at The Stern does not run in the background as an extra idea. It simply comes along naturally. In the Stern kitchen, where cooking is regional, seasonal and from nose to tail wherever possible. In the eco indoor swimming pool, where technology and family holidays come together thoughtfully. In mobility, where green arrival is made easier. And in the Sternchen Club, where children are outside, planting, gathering, discovering and learning in a playful way how closely a good life and taking good care belong together.
This makes sustainability at The Stern not an explanation, but a lived practice – calm, concrete and without any big fuss.
