The new centrepiece at the Stern
From December 2024, the Stern will appear in new light.
We also love good food. And we love putting pleasure on the plate. In the new centrepiece, we now have even more space to showcase our delicacies. The best thing? You can watch our kitchen team as they prepare culinary highlights with dedication – and serve them directly to your table with a smile.
The new Welcome Bar is the central place to ‘Huangarten’ – as we say, when you meet up and simply have a good time together. Here we look forward to seeing familiar faces, welcoming new star friends and sharing our favourite places. And because it’s also a bar, we sometimes have a delicious barista coffee or a glass of something to toast.
It’s these countless little moments and the freedom that ensure light-heartedness for us at Stern. Time for the children, time for the family – and also a little time for yourself.
The drinks experience idea
We have four children by ourselves and know well how it works as a family on holiday … that’s why we want to make it easier for everyone:
- Water bar with our ingenious original water
- Market counter with fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables from the region for the squeezer
- DIY lemonade bar with different lemonades and creative recipes for the best lemonade of the day
- DIY sprizz bar with every imaginable spritz variation
- Craft beers from the region – to tap yourself, of course
- Regional fruit juices, cola, Almdudler and wines
- Organic coffee and tea from the micro-roastery
The whole thing costs €10 per adult and €6 per child – so it’s kind of ‘all inclusive’, but not completely 😉
In any case, varied, predictable, simple and without waiting times.
Drinks at the buffet are included for all meals (breakfast, children’s lunch, dinner). Consumption during the day (outside mealtimes), from the self-service fridges (discounted) and special requests (quality bottled wines from the wine list, spirits) are exclusive.

My lemonade!
The juicer has become a hit at Stern, especially with children! children! In the morning, they blend fresh fruit and vegetables to their heart’s content and vegetables to their heart’s content for the perfect vitamin kick. But why only have fun in the morning have fun? In the evening, the fun continues at the new market bar!
Children get creative and mix their own – completely independently! – their own favourite soda, while the grown-ups create their very own personalised DIY sprizz. The water bar, regional farmhouse juices and craft beers to tap yourself round off the offer with a huge huge advantage: nobody has to wait, everyone can be creative and the family budget is family budget is predictable – sounds good, doesn’t it?
Wine lovers can still order a really good bottle from Austria – and we’ll partially reduce the flat rate for drinks down again. So, clink glasses and enjoy!
