For families, The Stern is a wonderful place to lern to ski. The children’s ski area at nearby Grünberg is easy to navigate, close by and ideal for those first turns. The ski pass is included, distances are short and everything stays pleasantly uncomplicated. And when it’s time for more slopes, other ski areas are within easy reach – Hochoetz can even be reached by ski shuttle.
That’s what winter at The Stern is about: real snow moments right outside the door, sunshine, nature, easy distances and a place that feels good to come back to after a day outside. In the evening, children, parents and grandparents sit together in the cosy parlour. As in the past, the ingredients come from the region, and the kitchen takes its inspiration from the traditional recipes of Grandma Adele.
